A Windsport Competition fundraising to send kids into higher education

Fundraising for Amigos De Alumnos, a local Non- Profit which supports local kids with scholarships for higher education.

Now finishing our 4th year, the Lighthouse 1000 continues to make a remarkable
difference. This year we raised $15,000 USD! Over the past four years we’ve
contributed over $50,000 USD to local charities thanks to the incredible support of our
participants and sponsors!
The Lighthouse 1000 is a four-day charity event held in early February each year
featuring a full schedule of community-driven competitions and entertainment,
including:
● The Lighthouse Race
● BoarderX
● The BC/DC Concert
● Swim Races
● Costume Downwinder

Our goal is to continue growing the Lighthouse 1000 into a long-standing tradition that benefits the community and celebrates the spirit of wind sports in La Ventana.
