A Windsport Competition fundraising to send kids into higher education

Now entering our 4th year, the Lighthouse 1000 has already made a remarkable
difference. Last year we raised $13,000 USD, and over the past three years we’ve
contributed $36,000 USD to local charities thanks to the incredible support of our
participants and sponsors.
The Lighthouse 1000 is a four-day charity event held January 29th – February 1st,
featuring a full schedule of community-driven competitions and entertainment,
including:
● The Lighthouse Race
● BoarderX
● The BC/DC Concert
● Swim Races
● Costume Downwinder

Our goal is to continue growing the Lighthouse 1000 into a long-standing tradition that benefits the community and celebrates the spirit of wind sports in La Ventana.
